Ellen von Unwerth's story 'Barbie & Ken Party' story is making the digital rounds, and it's quite fantastic. The ability of Barbies Valerie Van Der Graff, Aleah Morgan, Lauren Young, Stephanie C and Sissel to hold their poses is fantastic. Kens including Paul Roemer, Paul Roemer and Xander also suit up just brilliantly. Celebrating its 30-year anniversary, Guess CEO and creative director Paul Marciano is bringing back one of its true originals 1989 Guess girl Claudia Schiffer.
The supermodel is shot on location in Sorrento, Italy by Ellen von Unwerth, the photographer who took Claudia's original Guess campaign.
“Guess will always have a soft spot in my heart, and I’m excited that 23 years later we can still work together so successfully,” Schiffer, who starred in six campaigns from 1989-1991, tells WWD. “Shooting the Guess 30th anniversary campaign was like going back in time. It brought back so many great memories.”
